Epilepsy with seizure- mri report review
I have attached lab report st Name Value Unit Reference Range MRI BRAIN + EPILEPSY PROTOCOL PROTOCOLS: Axial T1WSE, TSE-T2W and FLAIR pulse sequences. Sagittal TSE￾T2W pulse sequence. DWI & SWI are also performed. Coronal space IR (3D) sequence was also performed. OBSERVATIONS: Subcortical and periventricular white matter hyperintensities are noted on T2W & FLAIR images. Ventricular system, cisterns & sulci appear normal. Posterior fossa structures appear normal. Right hippocampus volume measures 3.65 cm3 and left hippocampus volume measures 3.13 cm3. Left hippocampus volume is less than right hippocampus volume. Bilateral temporal horns are not dilated. Bilateral mamillary bodies and fornices are normal. Sellar and parasellar regions are unremarkable. No evidence of any focus of restricted diffusion to suggest acute infarct. No evidence of any extraaxial collection / mass lesion or midline shift. Normal major intracranial flow voids visualised.
