Enlarged adenoids and tonsils
My 3 year old daughter is having mouth breathing , snoring and difficulty breathing for past 1 month. Currently using montair LC kid, nasivion and flomist nasal spray. Please let me know how long it wil take her to recover. This is the first time she is effected by this. What is the probability of getting healed with medication. Please help.. thank you.

Hi. I would suggest that you continue with the montair LC kid and flomist. However, nasivion should not be used for more than a week to 10 days. After about a month, she can be re-evaluated for symptoms.  A x-ray nasopharynx may be required to check for adenoids. If adenoids are enlarged but she is symptomatically better, the spray can be used for maintenance and she can be re-evaluated at around the age of 5.
