Endrometrial thickness is 9mm
My mother aged 53 years has postmenopausal bleeding. Her periods stopped 7 years ago..Her endometrial thickness is 9mm. Actually d &c procedure was done, but they couldn't find any cells.. Doctor is recommending for pipelle test Or take medicines for 3 months then get the test done.. Pap smear test shows negative. What to do now?? Does it mean that there is only infection or no cancer??

Get her examined by gynec. Apart from dnc , other option is endometrial aspiration. Small OPD procedure. We can try and get cells from that. Please connect.
