Hi,My mother had postmenopausal bleeding two months ago and doctors have done ultrasound,and some other blood tests,pap smear and cervical biopsy.They said that endometrial tissue is atrophic and tissue could not be obtained for endometrial biopsy. So only cervical biopsy is done.Attaching reports of pap smear and cervical biopsy.Please explain what they mean.please confirm if it's cancer or not.Thanks.Ultrasound showed bulky uterus with multiple fibroids and endometrial thickness is normal measuring 5.1mm.

Need to investigate ! Post menopausal bleeding need to a Hysteroscopy to view the interior of uterus and do a D and C and send material for Histopathological exam to ensure no precancerous changes have taken place.
