No its not painful procedure, its a opd basis 5 to 10 minutes procedure. Before procedure local anaesthesia spray is sprayed inside your mouth over (posterior) pharynx to make it numb and procedure i s done in 5 to 10 minutes. Its not at all painful. Little discomfort occurs, meet an expert( endoscopist) and clarify all your doubts.
