Thick endometrium mean more than 12 mm I’m sonography. Just thick endometrium is not indicative of chances of cancer. We need to have a concrete data as endometrium biopsy to support the thick endometrium. So thick endometrium is a screening test to decode whether a patient needs a biospy or not. Along with that age, history of pregnancy, obesity , bleeding patterns, some drugs, smoking etc are other factors to look for.
