It's not normal to have endometriosis, irregular periods  ( early or late), missing periods, spotting between periods, prolonged heavy flow, pains and cramps during cycle, PMS and mood changes before periods, PCOS, fertility issues, tiredness, hair fall,  sleep disturbances, weight issues etc. If it is happening to you,  it's a sign of underlying  hormone  imbalance  which needs further evaluation with blood investigations , scan etc.Only surgery without balancing the hormones is  also not enough as more cysts can grow.Good news is that all your problems  can be totally  reversed , not by masking the symptoms  with pills but by addressing  the underlying  cause of the problem and healing it from the ROOT cause which is not in your pelvis BTW Hope it helps.....

1)Lupron can be given  both before and after surgery. It is given before surgery to decrease inflammation and symptoms while patient awaits surgery. And it is given post surgery to decrease inflammation, pain and residual disease. It also may prevent recurrence though long term therapy is not given due to side effects. 2) treatment is given for 3 months to 6 months, treatment given fore more than this duration usually requires additional medicine to counter act side effects. 3) ovulation does not occur and menstruation generally does not occur, though it is not used as a contraceptive. Some irregular bleeding may occur but generally bleeding stops or even if it occurs, decreases in amount.
