Hi, if the edge of your is fractured and has been paining i would advise you to visit a dentist to check the level of the fracture. If the fracture is too much then a root canal needs to performed followed by crown on the tooth.
The cost factor would differ from doctor to doctor.
Next Steps
Visit an endodontist for your root canal and since it is the front tooth opt for a good crown although it might be costly.
