Hi, I am sorry you are feeling this way. I am sure this is tough. As a child this can be a hugely challenging situation to be in as your primary care givers are feeling unstable in their own emotional space. It’s best to find some therapist who can hold safe space for you and allow you to feel the emotions you are feeling so you feel emotionally healthy. Once that is done you can sit with the therapist to decide the best course of action for you in the long term. Also, it’s best to draw a firm boundary with this man and tell him that you wouldn’t want to engage with him any further as you aren’t feeling safe. If he pushes his boundaries with you, you can raise an alarm with the local police by filing a harassment complaint. Stay safe. You’re brave!

Hi... It is hard to adjust in such an environment as a child but it will be a completely different story if one includes the perspective of your mother, father, and her partner. What appears to you as an affair might be a relationship, that they are intending to take forward. Marriages do not always end up growing old together. It is a social institution which sometimes ends up before its time. You have all the right (legal, social, emotional) to respond and react in a manner that you deem fit and you may choose to stay with your father if that works well for you. But you need to understand that they have a life of their own beyond being your parents and also have a right to choose the life they want. I know it is hard to understand all this as a young adult and you must be feeling disappointed by their actions, which is fine. You have a right to respond the way you feel about it. But in a cooler state of mind try to forgive them for disappointing you as their child. They are also just common people with needs, insecurities, weaknesses, and wants.
