NO! Eagle's Syndrome refers to an abnormal ossification of the Stylohyoid Ligament thereby causing Glossopharyngeal Neuralgia in the Lateral Pharyngeal Space! The only solution is surgery, wherein the Faucial Tonsil is removed and the lateral pharyngeal space is accessed through the transtonsillar approach and the styloid process and part of the ossified stylohyoid ligament are excised endoscopically, thus freeing up the glossopharyngeal nerve and relieving the neuralgia.
