Elevated cholesterol levels
I was having high Sgpt And Sgot levels so i decided to work on my health and starting dieting and exercise, My cholesterol levels were normal before 2 months.Now after loosing 9kgs of weight in 2 months i repeated my lipid profile and Liver profile my Sgpt and SGot came as normal but now my cholesterol levels are elevated..Sr Cholesterol is 217 now and LDL is 166 now with normal Sr Triglycerides levels.After consulting with dr he said its normal to have elevated cholesterol levels due to weight loss..Now i consulted cardiologist he has recommended me to take statins which i dont want to opt for..need ur valuable suggestions. Age :- 32 yrs...Non Alcohalic..
