Elderly Hot Flashes
Why would an eighty-six year old keep having hot flashes? She is pretty healthy for her age. The only prescription she takes is Metaprol which she has taken for several years. She takes a daily aspirin. She also has what seem to be anxiety attacks. These may or may not be at the same time as the hot flashes. For a while she was on Lorazapam for anxiety but it did not seem to help and made her sleep all the time.
