Elbow joint fracture. Now bone is joined
@ doctor sandeep bodedda...the fracture is 4 weeks old After that 15 days of plaster has been done now bone is joined. Currently doing physiotherapy. Many doctors said surgery is not required. But when she does physiotherapy so has a lot of pain and swelling. For that she need some medicine. Suggest any??

Adv. - physiotherapy 1. wax bath 2. US 3 Active  exercises 4. NO MASSAGE. 5 gradual return to usual activities. 6.May need pain killers from time to time.

You can start physiotherapy. Gently for 2 weeks and you can increase Physio dose after 2 weeks . You add a pain killer to facilitate Physio . Definitely fracture is not perfectly reduced . But there is little we can do now . There will definitely be difference in opinion among different surgeons . I would prefer to start Physio .

This was an intra-articular fracture with radio capitular sublaxation....
Next Steps
Do a CT scan of elbow with 3D reconstruction..consult orthopaedic surgeon.. surgery may be required
