Effect of duonase nasal spray
Does the duonase nasal spray cause side effects to the entire body? Is it a topical spray or does it acts systematically as well? Can it reduce the immune system of the body if used for 5months continuously?

Hi..duonase contains azelastine and fluticasone... fluticasone is a steroid...when taken in the form of intranasal spray...the systemic absorption is very less!! So side effects are rare...there are studies in which prologed usage of more than 1year showed no prominent side effects...

Duonase is a topical steroid,  it has very minimal systemic absorption, so less side effects. Not to worry even if you have used for 5 months,  we have given up-to 1 yr without side effects.

May I ask for what purpose have you been taking the spray? It is a locally acting spray with negligible systemic absorption, it is used to reduce inflammation in the nasal cavity.
Next Steps
It is always better to address the underlying cause of the inflammation and treat it simultaneously to achieve best possible outcome.
