I have been taking this medicine for the last 15 years prescribed by my Cardiologist as a precaution as I am a diabetic. Can I discontinue taking this or should I continue. My BP and Lipids are normal and my recent HbA1c was 7.4 Please advise. Thank you

Kindly don't stop any medication until told by your treating physician, the reason for lipid profile to come normal is the atorvastatin in the Ecospirin AV. Your HbA1c level is suggestive that your sugar is still not under control and will require change in medication doses.
