My period cycle is usually 27-29 days long , this time i got my periods on 23rd day. We have been trying to conceive from last 6months, could this be implantation bleeding? Should i go ahead and do pregnancy test after few days?

Implantation bleeding is usually mild spotting or minimal bleeding not full fledged period bleeding. There's no point doing the pregnancy test.

No this is not implantation bleeding
For implantation bleeding the patient has to be pregnant
In Normal menstrual cycle gab between two day one of period can be 21 to 37 so it is normal to get period in 23 days
