Eardrum damage with nose bone issue
Hi from past few years I m having discharge from my left side ear and today I went for check up doctor said my nose bone also getting larger so need to surgery that first then after 2 months eardrum will replace. He also suggest if eardrum will replace without nose bone surgery then after 6 month again I will face eardrum discharge issue .. please suggest is it necessary to do nose surgery first and does the surgery need stitches or they will do it with nose holes ..

yes you need to solve nasal issue first. There will be no external scar or stitch

U will get  endoscopic or conventional septoplasty ,both will thru nostril so no scar , I will suggest u to do nose surgery first then ear but recent consensus say that it doesn't matter in long run .

Septoplasty is done from within the nose. No cut outside. Nasal problem should be treated first because the cause of ear problem develop from underlying nasal problem.
