Ear pain after using wrong ear buds..
Dear doctors, I have used the ear buds and it seems it's very bad in quality and it injured my ear inside. after few hours I got pain and it's becoming worse every hour. I have tried the home remedies such as garlic and Gigengly oil. And it become worsen. Finally tried with ear drops C BIOTIC but it's not improving. Please advise to rid off the pain it's very harmful for me.

Thanks for your query.As per history you are having acute otitis externa which may be bacterial or fungal or both in origin and usually got entered through the ear bud itself through breached skin of ear canal.Already you used antibiotic ear drop but not improved means it is moderate to severe so you need to start oral antibiotics with supporting medications.Above all after this you may require ear suction clearance depending upon the observation of ear canal.so I would suggest to consult an ENT specialist of your choice through online video consultation or in clinic consultation as per your convenience as soon as possible before it is aggravating.Thanking you.

Your history is not sufficient enough to arrive at a diagnosis of your ear condition for which you need to insert ear bud. there is always a risk of injury to ear canal or ear drum with ear bud use.if at all you want to use ear bud ,use it staying as much close to outer canal wall as you can.use good quality ear bud from a reliable chemist.
