Ear infection and sore throat

Asked for Male, 19 Years

I keep getting ear infections, and they are accompanied by some other symptoms. Right now I have intense ringing in my ears along with a sore throat. I've taken amoxicillin with clav and it went away twice but now its back a third time. will the ringing in my ears go away, because I've had that for over two weeks? I'm going to a doctor in person tomorrow, but I would like to get an answer tonight. Should I also go to a doctor that specializes in ears? BTW I've had my adenoids removed as a child.

You seem to be suffering from eustachian tube dysfunction which usually occurs secondary to common cold. Since you had recurrent attacks of upper respiratory tract infection, probably that is the reason for ear issues. It is a self resolving condition and you may take decongestant medication for few days for faster recovery
