As per one of the doctor, he is saying ear drum is ruptured. Earlier he said, the ear drum has been filled, but not after few weeks, he is again saying ear drum is ruptured. My wife is in pain. Dr. Is saying for surgery, is it possible to cure with medicines.

Any perforation of the eardrum caused by trauma that means by hit by hand or a ball or loud sound exposure or while using ear buds, usually heals within a month but the ears have to be kept absolutely dry. No ear drops or whatever. If at all it is not closing in a months time then possibly a surgery would be required to close the perforation
