My son is having ear ache from last night. Crying n waking up from sleep. He is also having cold. Plz advice what can be done. Applying warm compress

It's acute Otitis Media, because of the cold the Eustachian tube gets blocked leading to pent up secretions in middle ear with inflamation thus causing extreme pain. Medicines will depend on age and weight of child. U need to mention age and body weight of child

Kindly mention your son’s age and weight so that adequate dose of medications can be prescribed. You may start Metaspray nasal spray for the nose 1 puff twice a day in each nostril for 10 days ( with child’s head leaning forward) and Neosporin H ear drops 1 drop twice a day for the ear for 5 days. Kindly consult through Practo for further medications as age and weight and other details will be required.
