Dysthymia(persistent depressive disorder
Sir I'm 25 years old. Been suffering from depression since 2013. Consulted an allopatic psychiatrist in nov 2016 and continued medicine for 3 months. Then I quit the medicine thinking about the side effects and dependency on them. I still face all the symptoms of depression. Mostly irritated, angry, lost, less sleep, lethargic, too much overthinking, wooried, nervous, so on. What is the best way to get rid of depression by roots.

Hello, Antidepressant do not cause dependency. They are eventually stopped after giving for adequate time period. To avoid side effects they are gradually increased and checked on follow up. Depression is caused by deficiency of neurotransmitter and it can get better by replacing it. Do not stop medication without consulting your practitioner.
