Does duphaston tablet affect in following ways?
1. If we don't have conception, then the period will come on as usual day and there won't be delay.
2. If conception happens, then it will hold the period for some more days in order to support implantation.
Is my understanding correct? Please advice.

As long as you continue taking duphaston you will not get your periods irrespective of you have pregnancy or not

While on duphaston the period may be delayed even if you are not pregnantbecause it is a hormone that prevents the shedding of the endometrial lining
