Duolin for 5 year old
My kid has diagnosed with asthma today. He has wheezing and trouble breathing for last 6 months. Bpm is 155 and Spo2 was 92. In hospital they used 3 repsules of Duolin. But someone said that Duolin is dangerous for 5 year old, last time they gave levolin and he was fine then. But today they 3 repsules of Duolin. Please suggest are there any side effects. Pls don't say consult.

The medicine given is for giving sudden relief . In Severe asthma , repeated doses might be required until the bronchospasm relieves . Duolin has levosalbutamol as the content . For acute exacerbation it is given .

Relax and take treatment from a Specialist Doctors advise. In emergency conditions , Duolin/Levolin both are okk along with Inhaled Steroid.

duolin can increase pulse so levolin can be given under precaution consult doctor

No worry. Pl take the treatment as advised. Later once symptoms are decreased,the dose will be reduced. Pl consult pulmonologist for further evaluation and treatment.
