Dull and dark skin after weight loss!
Hello doctor, i had a quite fair complexion earlier but these days my complexion has become dull and dark.. am on a weight loss journey i go to gym regularly and have shed around 8 kgs but my weight loss has made an adverse effect on my skin .. now i look dull and pale have lost the whitening glow ..can you please suggest me something ? PS: I have oily acne prone skin and it's quite sensitive too.

There can be several causes why your skin would turn dark or you may get pigmentation. Sun tan, overweight, pigmentation disorders like acanthosis nigricans or melasma, nutritional deficiency etc are some conditions. Unless someone examines you, we cannot know the cause. Unless we find out the cause it is difficult and pointless to treat. Please send photos with detailed history using online consult option for examination and proper treatment.,

There is a many reasons for Dark Skin. It is better to have an in person consultation with an experienced Board Certified Cosmetic Surgeon or Dermatologist who will examine your skin and help you with all your concerns.
