Dry and itching
She is 3 years old and her skin itches all the time. The problem is contnuing from the birth. Consulted doctor. He prescribed cutisoft cream,cetaphil ,moisturex cream,cetzine etc. But the problem persists.

Your daughter seems to have dry skin which  looks like in a bad state.and if she is having this since birth can be termed as edematous dermatitis :it's a bad allergic disorder and since you are already doing a lot which does not seem to help you Look for any family history of allergy Any accompanying respiratory allergy like runny nose or frequent coughs and cold Vitamin supplementation specially zinc and vitamin a and bit d will help.

get tested for allergies your pediatrician can get it done a barrier cream like emolene and a topical steroid mixed in it will decrease the roughness. you can use high potency cream like beclomethasone if hydrocortisone (cutisoft ) is not working.

rule to be followed. immediately after bathing apply emollient in 3 minutes do not run skin after bathing .only pat dry use a neutral pH soap like syndet- u are using Cetaphil meet someone who deals with pediatrics allergic disorders.
