Nasal congestion with eustachian tube dysfunction or block is the culprit for most of the ear infections
Treating nose will resolve ear infections most of the times
Nasal decongestions might be highly helpful

There is a tube called Eustachian tube which connects nose and ear. So nose infection can go to ear via the same. When u get a nose infection the Eustachian tube gets inflamed and that can onle be addressed through the nose.
