Mam, drinking hot water is good before sleep.quantity shud be that much to reduce thirst or 1/2 to 1 cup.it cleanses the urinary track and is good for respiratory problems if any.
There should be 2hrs gap between night food and sleep. If taken too much then it causes indigestion.otherwise limited water is good.
