Ho, I am sorry you are feeling this way. I am sure this is tough for you. Dreams are way for your subconscious to process incidents which are stored in it and have strong emotions attached to it. Hi You often have dreams about a person and you have not been in touch with this person for a long time. It is necessary to know how many years have passed since you have spoken to this person and how has your relationship been with this person. Consult a psychologist and describe the dream. When you describe the dream in detail a psychologist will help you figure out what the dream could indicate. It seems like the dream is causing you to feel curious about something. A psychologist will help you figure out what you are looking for.

Hi... You need to figure out if you have any repressed thoughts/feelings about that person or you need to focus on something related to that person. If that person is completely off your present life and has no business with you at present, this dream might be a reflection of something in your subconscious mind and this person is merely an image.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist. Dream Analysis along with Interpersonal Relationship Counselling is required.
