Drastic Weight Loss
For the past few months my father's weight has been reducing drastically (Age:58, Weight:57). I am suspecting this might happen due to his high blood sugar levels( he takes pills for sugar regularly). I am really not sure if this is normal and quite worried about it. NB.: He drinks quite a lot, almost regularly and is a chain smoker as well. Please suggest what to do.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Does he have cough? He's a diabetic and still continuing alcohol and smoking. Wow, what do you want me to say now. Ask him to stop. That's the problem. Diabetes isn't. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
