Drastic Hair fall
Past few months I am having drastical Hair Fall.. In fact I can see the baldness.. I had thick and healthy hair 6 months back... Last month I consulted doctor for my back pain issue and asked for blood test.. In the report I found to have Vitamin B12 n D3 deficiency... i am taking medication for the same... My question is is the hair fall can be due to Vitamin deficiency or some other reason. Can my hair regrow? Should I consult dermatology specialist or It grows back when my vitamin level comes to normal...I live in Bangalore...Please advise

You are suffering from hormonal changes causing Androgenetic alopecia causing hair fall. It's completely stoppable even regrowth of hair is possible with certain medications without any side effects. Treatment depends on the grade of hair loss. So, it's a must for diagnosing which grade, you are in for an effective treatment. Please  send photos of your head, by direct online consultation for accurate diagnosis and proper treatment.

Hi, from the photos that you have sent i notice that you have thinning of roots. This happens most commonly due to androgenetic alopecia or male pattern baldness. This happens due to influence of dht hormone on your roots causing it to miniaturize. Vitamin deficiencies can cause hair to shed but will not cause any balding changes like is seen in your photos. A detailed history along with examination under a dermascope is needed to assess your scalp in order to proceed with the right treatment. Medications are there to control the loss along with proceedures like prp depending on the extent of loss.
Next Steps
Consult a dermatologist nearby for further treatment.

There are multiple causes for hairfall and baldness. Vitamin deficiency is just a part of it. You require proper evaluation with a dermatologist or a dermato - trichologist . You need to start  treatment at the earliest to preserve your remaining hair and also for the growth of your hair.. Consult online for detailed prescription

Hello. Nutritional deficiencies are a cause of hairloss, though may not cause drastic hairloss. So other causes like hormonal alopecia and telogen effluvium need to be ruled out. You can be best treated only after proper assessment
Next Steps
Online consultation

High protein and iron rich diet
