Dear doctor, Recently I fell sick and had fever and body pain. Infact all my family members fell sick.My mother was diagnosed as Dengue and typhoid positive. My daughters completely recovered. Their blood test results were negative for dengue, malaria and typhoid. I was the last one to get sick. My test results for typhoid and malaria turned negative.
On 02.12.2021, Dengue IgM: negative(1.39 units);IgG:Equivocal (20.06 units) and platelets 1.40 lakhs/cmm.
On 04.12.2021, I again took a retest without my doctor's knowledge. The results this time were elevated.
Dengue IgM:3.20 units(negative)
IgG:52.46 units (positive)
Platelets: 1.38 lakhs/cmm.
Is there anything to be worried doctor?
I would be glad if someone can explain why the IgG values have doubled?
Thanks,
