Double marker test - intermediate Risk
I am 35 year old and this is my second pregnancy. My NT scan reports are normal but double marker test report has intermediate risk for trisomy 21 which is 1:844. My doctor suggested NIPT test and said if further reports have risk then you need think of termination or whatever decision you want. I am very tensed, is the age only reason for this intermediate risk? I have seen so may ladies delivery healthy babies even in 37-38 age. Can I take any precautions till I get NIPT report, please suggest?
