Dog Bite after covishield vaccine
My mother completed 3 dose of rabies vaccine on December 16th 2021. On 8 th Jan 2022 she had taken covishield shield 1st dose. On 9th Jan a puppy with deep wound bitten my mother with a cut and blood loss. I took her to SSKM medical College kolkata . They had given her immunoglobulin but no ARV. I don't think that puppy will survive because it has a big wound. So my question is how many Anti rabies dose should be given to my mother and when should be given. Is there should be any gap of days due to covid vaccine or I should give her ARV dose immediately within 72 hours.
