Does night breastfeeding cause cavity???
My 1.5 year baby has cavities. We got her fillings and fluoride varnish for all teeth. So I have stopped day time breastfeeding. But night its being very very difficult. Can I continue night feeds. Do cavities again arise if I continue bf at night? If I try to wipe her teeth after feed she is waking up and start crying. Am very worried about this process. Plz help me doctor

Yes breastfeeding makes caries to come again. Better to feed at day and clean her teeth and tongue after feeding. Avoid night breastfeeding if possible.

Hello The cavities might develop again when you breast-feed at night . Only way to avoid cavities is avoiding cleaning at night If possible
