Does my RCT done properly?Need Re-rct ?
Hi, I have lower jaw pain under ear and neck right side since may month. Went to dentist to check that. Xray normal. He suspect a fracture in #46 from Cbct. Want me to extract it. Went to Endo to check fracture. He couldn't spot any fracture. That tooth is very sore and tender, painful for tapping and hurts to bite on bite paper and tooth sloth. So he told to do RCT. Dentist want me to extract it as he suspect there might be fracture, that's causing lower jaw pain under ear and neck. I did rct in sep, crown in Nov. Still same symptoms in jaw and neck. Went back to Endo&dentist. Dentist want to extract#46. Endo did tapping again on crown. It hurts and sore, tender. Gave bite paper to bite on. It hurts very sore, tender and sensitive to bite on that paper. He took new cbct. No bone loss noted. He told me to come back for Re-rct as he will open tooth again and fill the canals wider and see if it helps. Do I need re-rct for that tapping and biting pain? Or extraction? Please help.

RCT looks fine ... I think you shld wait for 15 days to see whether pain increases or decreases and than take a decision .
