Does HSV delay HIV widow period
I had potential oral exposure on 115 days ago. I tested HIV-1 RNA at 54th day. HIV -2 RNA at 72nd day. 4th gen test at 48,72,90 day all came negative. I took 112th day took STD panel result came reactive for HSV 1/2 IgG index value is 30 and HSV 1/2 IgM index value is 0.88 almost 0.9.Does HSV delay the HIV widow period?.My hsv infection is recent or old ?I have white coated tongue.

Taking treatment for HSV can suppress the HIV replication and prolong window period but merely carrying HSV infection has no impact on window period of HIV. As IgM index is not significant, HSV is an old infection. White coated tongue is of no importance.
Next Steps
Just chill
Health Tips
Avoid intercouse (oral or sexual) with a person without known HIV or STD status
