Does HIGH BP mean medecn for lifetime ?
I have been taking medicine for high BP for few months . Most of the times my BP is normal. But after knowing through some queries that if anyone gets high bp then that person has to take medicine for lifetime. I have stopped taking BP medcine for last two weeks . And my BP is quite normal . 130/80. I want to get an honest anwer wether i have to take pills for life time or is there anyother way to controll it ?

If your BP is well below the reference range 130/80 mmHg always no need to take medications. But if you were a hypertensive, who required medications to control the BP you need to take lifelong treatment. You can control to some extent with diet modification and exercise.
