DOES FRAYED GUMS GROW BACK ?
A part of my gum is frayed because of chew tobacco usage .. i quit chew tobacco. but my worry is did that frayed gum part grow back to normal position.. the under part(root i think)of 2 teeth is visible as white color on gum . i read somewhere else that the gum doesnt grow back .. anyone help me . i attached a pic of that part.

It is a normal appearance. Your gums are at the right level, they have not receeded. This appearance is because the bone housing the tooth root is thin and there is a root prominence seen

This is not gum recession. Probably looks like gum thickness is less.. As you are just 20 and now quit tobacco You should improve vitamin C content in diet. Citrus fruits milk and milk products..are a good source If you see no improvement with this after a month then consider consulting a dentist

This is not gum recession. Your gum attachment is normal. However in that area gum is thin and roots of the teeth are giving that impression of whitishness. Nothing much can be done about this.
