Does Fenofibrate increase creatinine?
Myself 31 years Male, my creatinine was 0.89 . But after taking Fenofibrate 160 for 6 months it's now 1.15. Does Fenofibrate increase creatinine??

Yes it increases . Now also your creat is in normal range . Another alternative drug can be added to decrease your cholesterol or triglyceride levels.

yes it increases creat so consult your prescribing physician he will replace it with other medicine as there are safer alternatives available which improves the lipid profile and will not impact creat level. Simultaneously get your renal function assessed as there may be other underlying cause eg hypertension

Ya it increases. But it's reversible when you stop using it. Your creatinine is within normal range.
