Root canal treatment is a filling procedure where the tooth root is cleaned and filled . Following RCT one doesn't need to take any bed rest . It is painless as it is done under local anesthesia and painkillers can be taken if needed. Cost of the procedure depends on the experience /expertise of the dentist and his speciality . Cost differs and varies from place to place. Visit a nearby dentist to enquire on pricing . I can give you a range between 3k to 7k for the root canal and the cap between 4-10k .
