Do palate expanders work in adults too?
I had 4 teeth taken out due a bad braces treatment and that made my arches small. I'm looking for expansion and a wider fuller smile. I'm wondering if I non surgical palate expander will work for me now that I'm 19 ie an adult?

The orthodontic treatment usually involves extraction of four teeth...
Don't worry..
The occlusion will get normal and facial profile may look changed.. But it's normal..
Palatal expanders are used in cases where the maxillary arch is small and need more space for correction of crowding teeth..
Consult an orthodontist for further issues..

Palatal expanders work well in the growth spurt period. U can still use but the result will be not that markable
