Do my kidneys pain?
I am experiencing stomach pain from almost 2 years. I've taken PPI, Antacids, Bismuth Subsalicylate for a month and extended PPI for another month. Doctor told me that my stomach pains due to stress and lack of exercise. So for solving stomach pain he suggested daily walking. But after a few weeks i ate a sandwich and now my stomach again started paining. Do the kidneys and not the stomach pains? The part just above and behind the pelvic bone on the left side of my body pains. I think this pain will never go. Please help.

Hello, sir- The kidneys are bean-shaped organs (about 11 cm x 7cm x 3cm) that are located against the back muscles in the upper abdominal area. They sit opposite each other on both the left and right side of the body; the right kidney, however, sits a little lower than the left to accommodate the size of the liver. Pathology of kidney will cause pain which refers to flank. Flank pain refers to pain or discomfort in your upper abdomen or back. It is located below the ribs and above the pelvis and on the side.Flank pain basically refers to pain in your side and back. Usually, the pain is worse on one side of your body. Any pain I'm our body is treatable or atleast manageable. So instead of worrying consult a general surgeon or get simple blood tests done to know the functioning of kidneys
