Good morning.
I understood ur concern, vertigo is very
uncomfortable situation but it easy to treat
if ,the exact reason behind it is evaluated . Since
u have clearly mentioned the onset of ur vertigo
is with changing in body posture , the reason
could be POSTURAL HYPOTENSION.I wud like
to discuss some more reasons for vertigo that u
must know:
Vertigo can be due to:
1. Central nervous system involvement
( nucleus, tract and cranial nerve involvement)
2. Inner ear dysfunction
3.BPPV ( benign paroxysmal positional vertigo)
4. Blood pressure changes ( postural
hypotension) can be ur cause for vertigo
5. Anemia
6. Blood glucose levels altered.
7.Electrolyte imbalance
8.Eye vision problem ( refractive error).
9. Heart involvement ( syncope)
10. Psychogenic vertigo
11. Vertigo associated with migraine.
12. Any medicine induced vertigo
13 Any parasite infestation in ur brain or lesion
or tumours.
14. And many more
I don't want to scare u, i request ,pls don't
correlate any of above reasons with urself until
ur situation is discussed with doctor .
Next Steps
1.Consult a Physician regarding ur vertigo .
2.Check ur Blood pressure and Blood
heamoglobin
3.If all other reasons for ur vertigo is absent and
all reports are normal then consult a
Psychiatrist/ Neuropsychiatrist .

1.Try not to change ur body posture suddenly, If
you want to stand from sitting position do it
slowly & the vice versa.
2.Drink water/ buttermilk 4 to 5 litres daily.
3. Eat a balanced diet every day.
