Dizziness and imbalance can have causes in the cardiovascular system, central nervous system or the inner ear. If its due to inner ear pathology then u will have vertigo ie spinning sensation. To diagnose balance disorder is a very tricky thing to do. A carefully elicited history is of utmost importance. A tactful examination and few tests will clinch the diagnosis. I advise you to get a thorough consultation.

Balance is achieved and maintained by a complex set of sensorimotor control systems that include sensory input from vision (sight), proprioception (touch), and the vestibular system (motion, equilibrium, spatial orientation); integration of that sensory input; and motor output to the eye and body muscles.
