Disc Bulge and shoulder pain
I got injured recently while lifting heavy bag and had shoulder pain, radiating to arms , inflammation at upper back. The MRI shows disc bulge - osteophyte at c4-c5, c5-c6 levels, c3-c4 . Minimal anterior thecal sac indentation , mild bilateral neural forsminsl narrowing impinging exiting nerve roots. MRI doesn't show nerve compression but says disc bulge. Does disc bulge also disturb nerve . How to reduce the disc bulging? I am going to Physiotherapy but what are the best exercises, tips for relieved with problem completely. Does heating pads, traction get rid of disc bulge? Once disc bulge happens can't the disc bulge vanish after physio? Should I need to wear neck brace belt to correct the upper back posture? Please advise 2.

No you will only prevent further disc bulge and complications rather than reducing existing ones. Can get worse often . Physiotherapy is the pillar of management. Get it operated by a spinal Surgeon and you can cure the problem and put your mind at rest
