Difficulty in proper pronounciation
I am not able to properly pronounce words having 'sh' sound e.g. I pronounce she as see, should as sould. I produce 'sh' sound as 's' sound. Please help to rectify this problem

Usually I f the front teeth are not placed in the correct position; more air escapes than required and that is resulting in this problem with your pronunciation. Visit us to further study the problem and work out the ideal treatment options for you.

Hello, you can consult an orthodontist to check the position/alignment of your teeth. Simultaneously a speech therapist could also be helpful. Regards Dr Sumanmakam
