Difficulty in getting conceive. Back?

I am having a 3.2 years old kid. I had abortion 5 months back due to some personal reason (aborted in 5th week of pregnancy by taking medicine under supervision of doctor. Post abortion undergone rpoc check. It was all fine and no RPOC). Both the time pregnancy had come naturally . Then I am trying conceive since last 4 months. But unable to succeed. Last month when I had undergone follicular monitoring, I came to know that I ovulated on day 20. After that doctor had put me on Duphaston. But no luck in that. Now my doctor is suggesting to go for ovulation induction for 3 cycles first. If it does not work then she will go for sperm analysis and tube check. Is her approach correct ? Should I go for ovulation induction first before going for tubes check considering I had got pregnant naturally 5 months back? Please suggest.
