Different shaped rings on my inner thigh
About four months ago I noticed one ring on my inner thigh and forgot about it thinking it was nothing. Fat forward to now, and I have a dozen on my inner thigh. To describe them: they’re either circles or distorted ovals, the rings are a darker colour (the inside of them is the colour of my actual skin, it’s just the outline that’s darker). They range from a centimetre to about an inch and a half. They’re a bit scaly but not itchy. I’m getting worried because of how many more have grown.

You may be suffering from tinea cruris which is fungal infection of the inner thighs, groin and buttocks area. It can be treated by taking four to six weeks of anti fungal treatment which includes tablets along with creams. Do not use soap over that area. Mistreatment with over the counter Steroid containing creams like fourderm, panderm, quadriderm, hh zole, candid b etc lead to repeated case of recurrence and also side effects due to application. Do not use steroid containing combination creams. Please call me or contact me using online consult option with photos for detailed prescription. Do not delay treatment as it may spread further on your body and also to other people living in the household
