Diet for height & weight growth
Dear doctor, My daughter is 6 years old and looked very lean and short. She look likes as 3 or 4 years old. We are worrying very much for height and growth. Actually she did not eat the food very much though we give different kind of foods. We never give like pizza and burger and fast foods. We give milk and some dry fruits on everyday. She eats fresh vegetables and fruits also. But still she looks lean. She plays in home only and did not go outside very much for playing.She sleeps at 11PM and wakes up at 08AM. My questions are to you is. 1.    Can you suggest me that what are the ways or medicine for height and weight growth. 2.    Every day early morning after she wake up we give 4 soaked almonds, some pea nuts and some ground nuts. Is it correct to give all the nuts togather. Pls tell the other foods and any protein powder for her height and weight. I have covered all day routine of her. Now pls tell me what to do more. Hi, Good morning! I understand your concern. To answer your queries 1. Please consult with an endocrinologist. Has she been always in the same growth percentile in the growth chart? 2. You can continue giving her 4 soaked almonds every morning. You can give any other nuts later during the day. 3. Make sure she plays outside everyday for at least 30 minutes.

As long as the child is very active and her immunity is good need not worry about her. Hope her appetite is good Include variety of cereals rice rice,wheat,ragi,in various recipes, Spread out her meals into 5 or 6 small meals per day Include the nuts in various recipes combined with other carbohydrates
